Media users receive more relevant submissions in a consistent format. ## Important User Groups ### FYI Senders FYI Senders include artists, bands, labels, publicists, venues, festivals, booking agencies and music companies. They use Fyier to create and send structured music notices and song promos. Sender-side sections include Send, Status and Settings. Sender Status includes Sent, Drafts, Published and Notes. Sender drafts can be opened back into the form, edited and sent. Publicity representatives can create Client profiles. An FYI is about the selected Client, and the finished FYI emphasizes the Client's information while the publicity representative remains visible as sender. ### FYI Media FYI Media includes editors, writers, blogs, magazines, radio shows, newsrooms, podcasts, playlists and other outlets covering music. Media-side sections include FYI Desk and Settings. The media inbox uses New, Working and Published. Media can publish story links, give feedback via Fyier or remove irrelevant items. FYI Media can join for free during beta. ## Matching and Translation Media users set FYI Filters for genres, countries, languages and content types. Fyier routes FYIs toward media whose filters match the story. Media users can choose a preferred reading language. If the sender allows automatic translations, Fyier can make the FYI readable in that language. If automatic translations are not allowed, the FYI is delivered only to media whose language filters accept the original FYI language. ## Music Promotion Guide Summary Music promotion is the work of turning music, timing, context and artist activity into a story that gives an editor a reason to care. A new release is rarely enough by itself. A useful music pitch includes a clear angle, artist information, release date, genre, location, listening links, images, credits and contact details.
