Fyier Terms of Use

1. Service

Fyier is a beta media relations platform for music industry senders and music media. FYI Senders can create and send structured media notes, song promos and related material. FYI Media users can receive, organize, review and respond to FYIs according to their own filter and workflow settings.

Fyier is provided as a technology platform. Fyier does not act as an editor, publisher, legal adviser, rights clearance service, media representative or verification authority for user content.

2. Accounts and authority

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. You may only create accounts, manage profiles, send FYIs, publish information or communicate on behalf of artists, bands, companies, organizations, media outlets or other entities when you have proper authorization to do so.

Fyier may restrict, suspend or remove accounts that appear to impersonate another person or organization, misuse a name or trademark, send spam, submit unlawful material or otherwise breach these terms.

3. User content and rights

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Fyier. By using the service, you grant Fyier the limited rights needed to host, store, process, display, translate, deliver, forward and otherwise operate your content through the service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, legality, copyright status, trademark status, publicity rights, privacy compliance, image rights, music rights, contact details, links and all other rights connected to content you submit, send, publish or distribute through Fyier.

4. FYI-AI and automatic translations

FYI-AI and automatic translation features may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading or otherwise unsuitable output. Automatic translations may contain omissions, tone changes, wording errors or meaning shifts.

When you use FYI-AI to create, improve or edit content that is shown to you before sending or publishing, you are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing and approving that content before sending, publishing or relying on it.

If you allow automatic translations for recipients, you understand that those translations may be generated after sending and may not be available for sender review before delivery. The sender remains responsible for the original FYI content and for the decision to allow automatic translations. Media users and other recipients remain responsible for independently reviewing and verifying any translated content before publishing, distributing or relying on it.

Fyier and FYI-AI do not provide legal, editorial, journalistic, copyright, trademark, privacy, regulatory or professional advice.

5. Media users and recipients

Media organizations, journalists, editors, bloggers, radio users, influencers and other recipients remain solely responsible for their own editorial decisions. Receiving a FYI through Fyier does not mean that Fyier has verified, endorsed, certified or authenticated the sender, the content or any claims in the content.

Media users are responsible for independently verifying information before publication or further distribution.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use Fyier for spam, harassment, fraud, unlawful material, malware, unauthorized personal data distribution, rights infringement, impersonation, misleading representation, scraping, service disruption or attempts to bypass security, rate limits or access controls.

7. Privacy and personal data

Fyier processes personal data to create and maintain accounts, provide and improve the service, deliver FYIs, manage communication, support security, handle billing where applicable, respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations. More information is provided in the Privacy Policy.

Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection concerning their personal data. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, legal obligations, abuse prevention, dispute resolution or enforcement of these terms.

8. Beta service changes

Fyier is currently a beta service. Features, limits, workflows, eligibility, pricing, subscriptions, integrations and availability may change. Fyier may modify, pause or discontinue beta features as the service develops.

9. Limitation of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fyier is not responsible for loss, damage, claims, liability, publication decisions, missed opportunities, incorrect information, translation errors, AI-generated inaccuracies, rights disputes, unauthorized representation or reliance on content received, sent or processed through the platform.

10. Changes to these terms

Fyier may update these terms as the service develops or legal, operational or security needs change. Continued use of Fyier after updated terms are made available means that you accept the updated terms.
